My battery indicator states that my battery is not charging. I did a search on here and found a solution that worked for others by deleting items on the DEVICE MANAGER. I tried this process but my battery still indicates not charging. I also found that if the battery is removed and the laptop still works after plugging the power cord back in it means the battery is bad. Is this true? The battery in my computer now is a replacement I bought from EBAY in APRIL 2017. Can someone suggest where I can buy one that will last longer then just 1 year? The original battery lasted 5-1/2 years (2012-2017).

BRAND NEW ENVY 360 ISSUES
good day. I have just this week purchased a 17" HP Envy 360 ( solid state) Within the first hour i started having issues. I got the black screen of death. I had to go on line with my old laptop to find a way to resolve this. The computer started on the updates. Off which there were many. Then it wouldnt install them. I then again had to go on line to find how to do this. Now when it tries to confugure updates, it cant. I went online again. Started in safe mode, made recomended changes and it still tells me there are security updates that are not installed and need to be.
This is my first HP and i am far from impressed by the problems I am having straight out the box.

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Hello, I've been using my hp 15ac-184TU laptop for 3 and half years now... For the recent days i am experiencing a worst issue with my pc. My PC Suddenly gets a blue screen of death which says "We found a problem on your PC and we will restart for you. DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" and the system gets restarted immediately. I just noticed that, i'm getting this error only when my laptop is connected to the internet. I use JioFi Modemn to connect to the internet. While not connected, PC is running smoothly. Sometimes the error occurrs two or three times in an hour. Can you please help me out with that. i'm totally frustrated with this.... And may i know what causes this error ? Is it a Hard Drive Problem or is it a problem with any
system drivers Or is it because of any external devices connected to it such as Mouse or HeadPhone or Speakers....

Reprogram/Customize Action Keys
Hi, I just got a new ProBook 470 G5 with German keyboard layout.
My previous laptop was a Packard Bell EasyNote LS and I am very used to having action keys/fn keys for [skipping], [repeating] and [pausing/resuming] music/....
This is very useful for me since I am using Spotify every day.
My new ProBook doesn't have these functions. Is it possible to assign those functions to spare f-keys/action keys (e.g. f2, f10) or can I override other action keys with functions more useful for me?
If yes, how can I do it?

USB ports do not work
When i got to device manager it does not show other device when i connect my usb stick into the 2 usb ports on the left. the usb stck lights up but my laptop doesnt seem to read it. HELP ME

How do I fix my HP Notebook?
My laptop will turn on perfectly fine. It will stay on a purple screen with a circle saying “please wait” for about 5-10 minutes. Once it starts up I try to open the on-screen keyboard like I always do since some of the letters on my keyboard doesn’t work. It won’t open and it freezes for 5 minutes then the on-screen keyboard pops up then I need to wait 2-3 minutes to try and type in my password once I put in my password it takes 2 minutes to log in then once it do. I can’t open any apps at all. I can’t see the Wi-Fi at the bottom bar and I can’t open the windows menu. I’ve tried the F11 button and the esc button but nothing happens it just continues. I’ve tried multiple times but nothing helps. How can I fix it.

Does my HP Spectre x360 have: DisplayPort Alternate mode?
I have the same question. I have model T6T09UAR. Which version of the DisplayPort and USB-C do I have? I need to connect a second monitor via DisplayPort to HDMI. I'd rather keep the USB-C unused unless the DP is a bad idea or is not viable. Thanks.

Computer keeps restarting and won't let me log in
My computer is doing this same thing. WiFi went out so I did a network reset. Now my computer turns on to log in screen, type in my password and hit enter and it’s not doing anything. After about 1 or 2 minutes my computer keeps restarting. I completed the wax key then f2 menu and ran test and everything passed so now I’m lost on what to do next

My bluetooth earbuds are not discovered in the list of Bluetooth devices
When I do the steps suggested to connect a bluetooth audio device to the letter, no matter what, my computer will not discover my earbuds, they are a pair of "JBUDS PRO BLUETOOTH SIGNATURE EARBUDS". By that I mean, when I get to the step where you click on the "

Problem with switchable graphics. HP Pavilion-17-f106nr (ENERGY STAR)
Good day. After updating the graphics card drivers, graphics switching in games does not work.(too little performance FPS) Please update the driver for my PC Assembly on your site so I could comfortably use a laptop and more. AMD High-Definition (HD) 1.20 a 337.9 MB 7 Nov 2014 installed. it would be possible to update the graphics driver in 4 years.

Frequent fps drops
I face frequent fps drops in every game, which makes them unplayable. For example in FarCry 5 the fps drops from 35 to 11 for a few seconds and then goes back up.
I tried reinstalling windows and the graphics drivers, updating the graphics drivers and the bios, disabled intel turbo boost, defragmented the games, disabled gaming dvr from windows settings, used the maximum performance option from nvidia control panel and disabled cpu core parking and all failed.

My laptop keeps connecting then disconnecting to the internet
Hi there
I have an important question. My laptop is only a few days old. My internet connection is working fine at home all my devices are connected. My laptop connects and then disconnects and this is happening all the time. Please can you tell me what I need to do to fix this as I can’t even do my work properly!
