HP Chromebook - Graphic Tablet issue

≫ Next: Bought a new hp notebook i7 8th gen 12gb ram and it is working very slow.

I bought my daughter an HP Chromebook for christmas not realizing how hard it would be to connect a graphic tablet to it. I sent the one back that wasn't compatible and re ordered one that is compatible with linux. I am having issues figuring out how to use linux and get the right driver downloaded. I have tried on the linux beta and cannot do it. I am wondering if it is just not possible or if I need to take it to a professional. She loves art and is dying to try it out. Any advice anyone can give me would be amazing. Thank you!

I have bought new hp notebook i7 8th gen but i dont know it was working very slow like i3. I expected more fast and when it comes to i7 reboot and booting to windows speed was too fast but very slow.please solve this issue

Battery Cal;ibration issue

I bought a new battery and after first time charging it tested the battery through HP assitant m it said recalibrate the battery by charging to 100% and keeping the charging connector connected for anoth 2.5 Hours and then test again, I have done this procedure alreadt 3 times but battery test styill says "calibrate? what shall i DO AS IT IS NOT GETTING CALIBRATED.

Recently I format the hdd from windows 7 to windows xp. Now when i go to stanby or close the cover the pc do not wake up.

I've an OMEN HP - 15-ax012nl and I bought it in November 2017, but in the last 3 months the laptop went completely down 2 times! The first time I lost everything (of course it's my fault because I didn't have a backup), I don't know how it's possible that it happens with a computer which is almost new. I don't now which is the problem, but the message that I got before to make the recovery and lose everything again, was about -> c:windows\system32\logfiles\srt\srttrail.txt

Здраствуйте,проблема в том что ноутбук не видит дисковод и не читает диск.
Так же в диспетчере дисковод не оторбражается и когда включаешь показать скрытые устройства он показывает,но когда смотришь свойства устройства выдает это

Сейчас это устройство не подключено к компьютеру. (Код 45)

Чтобы устранить эту проблему, подключите устройство к компьютеру.

В реестре даже папку Controller0 создавал,бесполезно.
Прошу помочь,заранее спасибо.

Hello, the problem is that the laptop does not see the drive and does not read the disk. Also in the dispatcher, the drive does not display itself, and when you turn on the show hidden devices it shows, but when you look at the properties of the device it gives out Now this device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45) To fix this problem, connect the device to the computer. In the registry, even the folder Controller0 created, it is useless. Please help, thanks in advance.

My keyboard often stops working completely after the laptop 'wakes up' from sleep. It is clearly a software issue, and is addressed here:

The hard reset does fix the problem - temporarily - but it is happening more and more often, much to my annoyance and inconvenience! Also I'm concerned that doing this hard reset is bad for the laptop and may be making the problem worse. If there is any way to permanently solve this that would be great. Seems like its a common problem so would assume there would be a fix by now.

So, after Googling this problem it is apparently not uncommon for Windows 10. There was an easy work around which seemed to work for most but I get an error. Anybody else? I bought this over a year ago and HP customer support is HORRIBLE. Out of warranty with Office Depot but I need to use this for work now and that is impossible! I cannot even believe I'm having such a stupid problem.

My laptop had started slowing down, so last night when I found a message to install HP PC Hardware Diagnostics for Windows I downloaded it. My computer slowed down even more. I uninstalled it this morning, but my laptop is running even slower, MS Word and Outlook are not responding. What have I done and can I undo it?

Has anyone found a solution for this driver? I followed instructions on earlier posts and found no SP81142.exe which suppose to work, on HP site to dowload and try. I tried the other drivers and ways to load it and can't get it to install on Windows10 1809 version.

How do I uninstall Mcafee?

I recently bought an HP laptop with a preinstalled 30 day Mcafee trial. I do not want to use the Mcafee because I prefer to use the Norton subscription I already have. I need to uninstall the Mcafee, but nothing is working! I went to the control panel, found the Mcafee, and clicked uninstall. I checked uyes to allow changes to my computer. A box opened up asking me to select the items I wanted to unistall, but the box was empty! There was nothing to select!

I also tried to install my Norton. The Nortan installer detected the Macafee and asked if it should uninstall. I clicked and the Norton tried but spun around for a good half hour! I finally had to restart my computer to get it to stop! Norton could not uninstall the Mcafee!.

I tried downloading an uninstall device from the Mcafee website. The device stalled when it got to a certain pint and could not complete the uninstall. I went back to the Staples store where I bought the laptop, and the staff said the first uninstall method should have worked and that I could bring the computer in and pay them to remove the Mcafee and install my Norton. They said there might be setting interfering with the unistall.

I really don't want to use the Mcafee, I want to use my Norton. Has anyone else had this problem and can anyone tell me how to get rid of the Mcafee? Thank you very much for your help!

Operation periodically pauses when running on battery.

When I am using my computer and it is running on battery it periodically pauses. What I mean is that all program operations stop and become unresponsive for about 15 seconds. Durring this time I can still move my mouse cursor, but I cannot open the Windows start button or switch to another program. After the 15 seconds it just picks up where it left off. This seems semi random, but the general frequency is once every 10 minutes. This never happens when the laptop is running on normal power. My best guess is hard drive drop protection is kicking in. I have a 128G SSD and a 1TB spinny drive. However, this problem happens even when the laptop is sitting on a table top. Also, I would think it would be easy to reproduce if that were the cause. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
