We just purchased a hp notebook 15- ay009dx. After the set up was complete the computer went to a gray screen. The mouse is visible but no other functions are visible or work. The window key also does not bring up any other screen. Restarting the computer asks for me to log in but then goes back to the gray screen after I log in. How do I get rid of the gray screen and get into windows?

My notebook has gained a SYSTEM Z: drive in the last couple of months. of 356M. It is now reporting Low Disk Space (about 1M free) and Windows updates are failing.
What can I do about this? Is there a clean-up mechanism that can free up some space, or should I increase the size of the partition? I've looked online but can't find anyone else reporting this problem.
I don't believe I've put anything in it (if so it would have been by accident) but I can't see the contents of the drive so can't tell.

HP Pavilion X360 Battery (601) Alert Issue
Hi everyone,
So, yesterday I started up my computer and the fan was running unusually high and then shut off immediately. I plugged my charger into my notebook and then started it up only to find the Primary (internal) Battery (601) message popping up. This laptop is just over a year old so I searched up on HP forums and found the fix where you uninstall the 'ACPI - Compliant Control Method Battery', turn off your laptop, unplug the charger and charge it into a wall outlet, and then starting up your computer. I repeated that process twice and then my battery worked again. I ran a diagnostic test and it showed that my battery was still at 90% capacity. All seemed well so I went to sleep, only to find that the same problem occured when I woke up and tried to turn on my computer - wouldn't start, alert message, uninstalled the driver twice and then it finally worked, and my battery is holding its charge now.
Does anyone have any suggestions or input that might be helpful?

permission issues when trying to network my two computers

I have a program which is runing on my PC which I wanted uploaded to work on my laptop for convienenice.. the program has been uploaded which required an SQL upload, but it seems the company which supplies the program is now saying the computers need to be networked and there is possibly permission issues?
Could you please explain, how and where I find this permission that is on my PC

Hello! I've been using my HP Stream 13 for almost a month and I find a very confusing part about the storage. My computer has 32 GB storage and 2GB RAM. To save storage, since the internal memory is minimal, I inserted a 128 GB usb 3.0 and store all my files there so that internal storage won't decrease. However, the memory still keeps decreasing as I continue using the Laptop. I tried using CC Cleaner so that somehow I could delete unnecessary files. But still it didn't work. So from time to time I check storage about the allocation of files, what type increases so bad that it eats up the memory. Then I noticed that the System & reserved is increasing so as my temp files plus I couldn't delete the temp files. At the moment, my free storage is 2.01 GB. This is bothering me. Is this normal? haha if not, what could I do about this? By the way my laptop is not partitioned.

Hp won't charge

Updating Android Lollipop
I am 81 years old and I have the HP 10 Tablet G2 - 2301 Serial number: 9CH5370N18 Model name: N3T44AAR
I went to Google on the HP and clicked on Updates Available on the tablet and I saw that there was an Apps update for Android v1.8.9 (free)
When I look in my HP tablet Settings/System/About tablet, I notice I have Android version 5.0.1 Build # 1.1.6_20150805.(I believe it is Android 5.0 Lollipop)
Can you tell me if I should go ahead and allow that to download and install? How would I know if that download/update is for my HP?
OR, isn't this an update for me and I should NOT download/install it?
I don't want to do anything that will ruin my HP tablet.
Thanks for any help.
P.S. I notice there are many, many updates for programs I would never use. Is there any way to delete those so I don't have to keep seeing them? Or is it best to just let them stay listed in the Updates Available section? (Govt jobs updates; System Updates (don't know what this one is referring to); Nigeria News Updates; etc.
