I want to roll back a bios or downgrade due to intel engine management interface not loading error statue power failure code 10. Please do not tell me to try other solutions and change the driver as I have done all this. I also have confirmation from Intel it is a Bios issue they know about.
With this Bios I have tested the problem on 3 new hard drives installing clean windows 10 version 1709 1703 1607, all with 9.5 upto 11.8 version of emui all will not load.
On one of the laptops I have HP 15n098sa it passes all the HP diagnostic extensive tests and passes. The problem seems to be the Bios version 71 rev A sp79456.exe .
I have downloaded and tried F.70 F.69 F.68 and all say this is not compatible with your system. Ok
So I then copy to a USB and boot from USB it states “ hp bios signature file error not found” and will not allow me to use any of the shown bios files.
So next step run the programs again and copy them to the HP UEFI diagnostics partition, again same problem.
Please tell me how to roll back the Bios as I cannot use it as it will not hibernate and cold reboots all the time.
This issue is due to the fact that there seems to be code in the HP flash utility that will not allow it to be downgraded.
Can someone pleae help?
