I have bought a second-hand Pavillion DV-6. The model number (from battery compartment) is DV6-6192sf. Win7 says all hardware ok except missing an SM bus controller driver and failing to install this every time I run troubleshooter. It also doesn't provide the AMD switchable graphics option. When I visit HP support assistant to download drivers the HP detection plug-in fails says "we are unable to verify your product & 0 HP products identified". I'd really appreciate any advice on why this is happening. Could it be that a non-HP bios has been installed?
