My laptop is HP Envy m6 1105dx

Product number: C2L91UA#ABA

OS: Window 8 64

Some days ago, my laptop updated, then I turn it on but I cannot log in any account, it said:

Group policy failed the sign in. Please try again later.

and then it signed out.

I tried to recover using HP Recovery Management, but while the Recovery was taking place, the laptop turned of unnoticedly.

Then I turn on the laptop, it showed an error:

Boot Device Not Found
Please install an operating system on your hard disk.
Hard Disk (3F0)
I checked memory and hard disk, everything is ok.
I tried to restore the BIOS by using Windows key+ "B" key, but the caps lock light keeps blinking until I turn of the computer.

I pressed F11, but the laptop display the error notice as I said above.

It even didn't reconize any my Windows developer Review Disc or Hiren's boot CD.
Can you please help me? I will be very happy. And I don't want my parents to loose their belief in HP products

nx6125 Password at Boot up

Hello

My Compaq NX6125 requires a password to get into the BIOS. Original password no longer works!

The laptop was given to me along with the old user password and this allowed me to boot the machine into WinXP. The screen had been broken and I used an external monitor. However, after loaning the machine to our local amateur theatre for a recent production and then replacing the screen I now, can't get in!

I have tried all the recommended routes - including pulling the machine apart! Nothing.

Is there a recovery password? A backdoor entry?

Can I get a replacement BIOS chip?

Please note - I have not obtained the laptop fraudulently! The original owner is the ex-daughter-in-law of a friend. I was hoping to repair the laptop and then give it away!

Any help appreciated.

I got a HP Pavilion G71-340US 64-Bit (running Windows 7), I did a start-up test,

IMG_0740.jpg

I was able to go into System Recovery, I tried restoring the computer, it took a while, it says it was incomplete, realizing I did this for nothing.

I managed to get into the main screen using the Ctrl, Alt, Del and when I'm trying to log in, it says its disabled.

I try restarting normally and get this:

Pavillion DM4-2070US that's odd wanting to factory reset

It's HDD died, so I replaced it with a different HDD from a HP Pavillion DV6 that I don't have anymore. It won't load to windows because of drivers or something, but it works, and I want to factory reset the DM4 to the way it was. BUT, can't do that because it says "error" since the recovery files are for the dv6 on the HDD i assume. Anyway to restore it to the way the DM4 was? My dad has a dm4-2070us too, so I tried to make recovery discs on his but it says error after it sticks to 1% validation.

PC won't turn on after installing BIOS driver

I recently reinstalled Windows XP on my HP Mini 110-1030CA, so I was installing all of the drivers from HP's list of drivers for it. Everything was fine until I installed the BIOS update. After the install, I restarted my PC, except now it won't turn on at all. No errors or anything, it just won't turn on.

Is there any way to fix it, or has HP's drivers completely ruined my computer?

Hi!

Following all the information given online, I have tried system restores and system diagnostics. I have completed a short and long test and my computer said 'hard disk 1 full (305)'.
Any ideas where I can go from here? HP says I have to buy recovery disks for £35 but I'm hoping there is another way.

Any help would be much appreciated!!

Thankyou

Problem I have is that after I started the 3-disk recovery installation of Windows 8 and all factory settings, the setup will process, it will install, reboot once and then it gives me an error message that says "installation failed, please insert disk to install again" or something similar. I have tried three times and does it every time. Bad part is that during installation it asks you to re format disk so old OS is no longer available. Need help with a fix, or what changes need to be made to allow installation to work.

windows 7

I want to restore my lap top to factory settings. I read up on how to do it and when I pressed F11 at start up I got " Boot Manager Missing". So I did some more reading and went into recovery manager under all programs. I got the message" there is no recovery partition on this computer".

Ofcourse, I didn't get recovery CD's when I purchased the lap top so I went to the HP site to see about ordering them and they said there were no disks available for my computer.

And ofcourse, I did not make my own after buying it. Cuz I'm dumb, apparantley.

So my question is, can I wipe out the computer and use any windows 7 reinstall disk?

Or, does anyone have any idea how to fix my problem?

Removing virus without product key # on back of computer

Your Question: Help...Getting incorrect info from Microsoft....from Geek Squad....so frustrating! I have an HP Presario, Windows 7 based laptop. The virus, F.B.I. is stopping me from getting anywhere. Geek Squad needs key # found on back of computer, but it is faded and not legible...they said it was their policy to have that before they could clean up the computer. They referred me to Microsoft...I spend almost an hour on the phone with 2 different tech support people. They finally say for $99 they can clean it up, then give me the key #...Really?? Can anyone offer any suggestions/ideas/repair answers??? Thanks in advance!
