I am trying to find my IMEI number on my HP Envy laptop (Windows 8.1).

When I enter netsh mbn sh interface into the command promt it comes up with "Mobile Broadband Service (WWANSVC) is not running"
Is there another way to find the IMEI no.?

when i am in windows gallery and scroll through my pictures they lag or appear distorted ie: the face of one the feet of the next photo, can anyone tell me how to fix, ive changed my 3d setting on video card no help and i ran the microsoft fix it no help
Hopefully, this is an easy setting that I simply cannot find. The login screen has an older name on it that I'd like to change. Would anyone know the steps or the path to those settings?

So, I've only recently needed my webcam however it's not working and I have no idea why. Can anyone through a couple of ideas towards me please? I'll try and help as best as I can.

I've installed CyberLink YouCam but when it launches it says there is no camera detected.
I've seen that I should look in several places in the Device Manager but thing is there. I've tried to check for "Capture Devices" (No such title there), I've looked under USB Controllers and there's nothing there that indicates webcams.
I've tried using HP's auto detect/update driver software located here

And all of this has done nothing.

Edit: I have the CyberLink Webcam Virtual Driver but that's it.
Edit2: After about the 5th time of restarting my laptop I now get "YouCam found a new webcam ( ). Do you want to begin using it?". I click yes but it takes me to a Cannot connect error message then a split second later it takes me back to the new webcam found message. It keeps repeating that.
Edit3: HP Webcam-101 now shows in the device manager but it still doesn't turn on or work.

A few days ago I noticed that the touchscreen has become completely unresponsive. I checked through all my settings and under PC info it now says that no pen or touch input is available for this display. I am completely confused on how this happened and if anyone could help me with recovering my touchscreen availability it would be greatly appreciated"

My hp touchscreen notebook laptop (unsure of model name) will not turn on. My computer was having trouble finding networks so I restarted it using the restart function, and when it shut off it never ended up turning back on. When I press the power button the light on the internet key turns orange and the adapter port lights up like normal as well, but the screen just stays black. This laptop is only a little over a year old, I have no idea how to fix it. I've tried unplugging the adapter and taking the battery out, holding the power button for 30-60 seconds and putting everything back in and that doesn't work, I've been reading a lot of forums and trying everything but nothing seems to work. If anyone has an idea of what I can do, it'd be really appreciated, I'd rather not have to take it to get diagnosed and spend tons of money. Thanks!

A custumer upgraded his pc to Windows 10. Whenever he logs on WIndows reports that the user can only log on without Biometric functionality (which is what the customers wants) Also the pc doesn't even have a fingerprint reader whatsoever.
I tried to remove HP security tools but it comes up with an error ( in Dutch)
I've translated it:
An error occured when applying transforms. Check if the transformpaths are valid
Reinstalling HP securitytools won't work either, installations simply stops without reporting an error.
Anyway to remove this manually?
Good afternoon everyone. Last Sunday something strange happened to my computer, usually I click at 'Start' icon to access Microsoft Word but nothing came up. I had tried to click the search icon and task view icon but the same problem occurred. No matter how often I clicked at them, it still unused. Then, I reboot my computer. Unfortunately, it also didn't worked. Besides that, I decided to search for the solution from the Internet through my phone. One of the person suggested me to check for hard disk health(sfc /scannow), DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth on Powershell, Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"} on Powershell, reset my PC and so on solution from Google. Almost all of them failed to solve the problem. In addition, I will upload the screenshots so that you will understand and assists me better.

I saw something similar when I tried to uninstall it safely only to get frustrated and force it to uninstall. Can someone tell me what is going on?
I have been experiencing a " HP SimplePass" popup (powered by SOFTEX incorporated) whenever I touch finger print bar (and many times when a password is required).
HP Support technician said it was downloaded when I connected to the internet and not to engage the popup (sumarized).
Does anybody know how to 1) get rid of the popup and 2) what I should be using to enable my "fingerprint bar" with officially HP sanctioned software?
Just bought my HP Envy 360. When I changed to Table mode, my screen will not auto rotate in Tent mode. Went to Display and Action Center to try to unlock rotation. The function is dimmed (i.e. greyed out), so I could not unlock it. Any suggestions?
