International Warranty

1-hp support is the worst ever

2-hp website ( support ) even worse

3-I wish I never got this hp laptop with this kind of support and service, complete  frustration

4-The laptop was purchased from UAE, but I live in US, it should has international warranty , when I contact US support. they asked me to contact MENA support, and I'm trying to a week but without any hope, I keep getting error on their stupid website ( http://h20180.www2.hp.com/apps/Error?h_lang=en&h_cc=emea_middle_east )

5-Why do I need to contact MENA support if I live in the US and laptop has international warranty ?

 

Anyone here has faced similar issue ?

I am a middle school kid and I work with google a lot. When I am not on google, I'm not logged in and I can't look at my grades, or get on google drive because bing doesn't work like that. How exactly, would I change google to my default search engine?

CyberLink and HP WebCam in Windows 7 Home Premium not working

Hi all;

I recently upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium. I had CyberLink 4 loaded and the web cam was not working properly. I then purchased YouCam 7 and it it still is not working properly. I've uninstalled everything I can think of that would use the cam, ie. Skype, HP WebCam etc. Still no luck.

Problem: After fresh reboot, the YouCam shows moving video for about 5 secs, then locks and eventually freezes the entire application. A restart of the software generates an error message: Warning: "YouCam cannot connect to your webcam (HP Webcam). Try selecting another capture device in settings, or close any applications that may be using this device and restart YouCam." This does not work and can't see that anything other than YouCam is using device. Any ideas on how to begin troubleshooting?

CANNOT ACTIVATE OFFICE

Just bought an HP Envy 17t and paid for Microsoft Office to be installed.  When I try to activate it I am told I need a web Browser like IE.  I have tried using IE, Edge, Chrome and Firefox.  Why does this idiot program think I am not connected?  I tried going around it and using my email, the one that's shown on the top of the Office screen.  And it tells me that email is not associated with Office.  Oh yeah?  So why is it printed on the Office screen?  I tried changing the password and also using other emails, no joy.

 

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

No battery detected

So yesterday i turned on my hp split x2 for the first time in a month. and when i plugged it into the charger i noticed that the battery icon had a red x in it. when i scrolled over it says no battery detected. my next guess was to restart my pc and hit f10 to get to get the reboot screen. i checked the primary battery and it said N/A same as the secondary battery.  i have factory reset, updated and downloaded BIOS. it seems nothing has worked. please help!!!

I have an HP folio1020 core M with windows 10 installed up & running. I have installed the latest fingerprint scanner driver from hp website(properly installed, does show in device manager) but I absolutely have no idea about how to use fingerprint scanner? I have googled a lot but couldn't find a solution for that. I am starting to think now that it just a hoax now.... please help.......

Can not download pics from my Kyocera shore phone to my computer or drive storage

when i plug my kyocera phone shore model into my computer i can not get my pics to download to my computer or drive. I get error message "this computer does not reconize the device plugged into the computer. Kyocera is worthless for help.

Microsoft Word and Excel 2016 conflicting with Printer Spooler (spoolsv.exe)

I acquired Microsoft Office Home & Student 2016, which brings along World, Excel, Powerpoint and OneNote. The instalation process got stuck in 95%, but the products were installed anyway. Powerpoint and OneNote opened normally, but World and Excel just keep "starting" forever, like in this screen:

I tried unstalling and reinstalling, but both process were always not completed (getting stuck in some step of the process), as said before. It was a really nightmare actually.

After 2 days of hard searching, I got lucky and managed to find out that if I stop the process Print Spooler on Services, Word (and Excel) instantly opens, but I couldn't use printers obviously. Now I could successfully unstall and reinstall Office, but doing this still did not fix the issue.

I've already tried reinstalling Print Spooler using third-app and erased all the default printers that came along with my PC, but it still interferes with Word and Excel (but Powerpoint and Onenote works normally)

I haven't the oportunity yet of trying to print anything random (like a PDF file or something), because I'm not having acess to printers this moment.

 

Any suggetions?

Just other info: if I run Word/Excel with Printer Spooler disabled, and then starts it, Word/Excel start to not respond anymore

I REGISTERED MY NOTEBOOK WHICH WAS PURCHASED ON 25/11/2016

WARRANTY SAID START DATE WAS 24/6/2016 TO 23/7/2016 AND IT HAD A EXTENDED WARRANTY

7 MONTHS REMAINING.

THIS NOTEBOOK WAS BOUGHT FROM VERY I HOPE IT ISNT RECONDITIONED.

iT SHOULD BE COVERED FOR ONE YEAR,

Keep getting 'HP SimplePass Application is restarting' message

I upgraded to Windows 10 about 6 months ago.  Have not had any issues with SimplePass (well, none that I couldn't find an answer for) until the last three days.  Nearly everytime I use my fingerprint to log in, or I open an application, I get the message 'HP SimplePass Application is restarting'.  Yesterday, it would not recognise my fingerprint until I restarted the computer, but since then it seems to work - I just keep getting the message flashing up on the screen.  When I went to Control Panel and attempted to open HP SimplePass so I could at least get the version number, it flashes the message again, but will not open up.

 

Please help.

I just got  this hp pc, and it is moving  slow, its reaction time is slower then normal and my internet connection is great so i know thats not the problem, Sometimes my pointer freezes so i have to use the touch screen part which freezes also,please help

I have bought a HP stream 14-ax050-sa and the licence for Office 365 is only going to last to 1st June 2017. Does anyone know who i need to take this up with? Currys passed me to Microsoft. Microsoft passed me nowhere and so I am trying the HP forums?Thank you
