I install all driver

 

But My Cogent Iris Scanner cs202 not getting power in this laptop, how i start my iris scanner, i install all

driver for scanner but my laptop not provide it power to start, it shows all install driver related to iris scanner

 

please give me the best solution


having problems with the HP Accelerometer on Windows 10

I keep getting a message that Windows 10 does not support the HP Accelerometer App. This happened after I did a weekly system update. I looked in the device manager and found this:

 

The driver for this device has been blocked from starting because it is known to have problems with Windows. Contact the hardware vendor for a new driver. (Code 48)

Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available.

 

I checked Microsoft and they had no solution.  

 

Where can i get a new driver for this App.?

Warranty extension starting date

I bought in 2nd of January 2018 an HP Care Pack, an extension for support by HP for an year. My notebook still has this type of warranty, lasting to 26th of February 2018. Why does the e-mail of the contract of the warranty etension says that the Care Pack starts from 2nd of January 2018 and not 26th of February?

I recently purchased the monthly tech support for $14.99 per month and after I paid, I was transferred to a tech specialist  who said he couldn't fix my problem and he transferred me to another tech specialist who's communication skills were not very good so I asked to cancel the transaction.

 

Nobody did any work on my computer and I was still on the same call. Had not hung up and called back.

 

I was told that somebody had to call me back withn 3-5 days to talk about a refund.  I didn't like that but I had already been on the phone a long time with HP and wanted to get off the phone. 

 

A woman called me days later and said I had entered a contract with HP and there would be a cancellation fee. I told her I had not used the service and had been on the same call when I decided that I did not want it after all. She insisted I would have to pay the cancellation fee of $49. I told her I would call my credit card company and then she said she would cancel and not charge me the cancellation fee.

 

Days later, I discovered that HP had charged me a set up fee of $35 and the first month fee of $14.99. I was never told of a set up fee. I would not have agreed to that had someone told me that.

 

Because of all this I will not purchase anything from HP again and do not know how I'm going to get my laptop serviced. 

 

Has anyone purchased this tech program and received competent service?

Wake-on-Lan / WoL not working on 2016 HP Pavilion Gaming 15

Hello, friends, 

Need some help with activating the Wake-on-Lan feature on my HP Pavilion 15-ak001-nq Gaming Notebook. 

All setup is OK from the router settings and the network adapter. When testing from my Android phone with a software listener on the running laptop, packets are received. 

BUT when putting to sleep the computer, it does nothing. No option shown for WoL in BIOS (I am using the latest version). 

 

Any help?

Microsoft pushed a Windows 10 update/virus to my computer that has completely disabled my HP laptop

3 days ago Microsoft pushed a Windows 10 update that has completely disabled my computer and sent in into a rebooting loop.  Now that BIOS needs to be adjusted to boot off of the USB download they assisted me with getting they kicked me to HP.  HP has been unhelpful since my warranty has expired.  I am in total disbelief how Microsoft pushed their softward on their partner's, HP's, products which has cost me time, money and tears and no one wants to help me fix this.  Instead, how about I pay $300 for tech support to tell me my computer is fried and I have to buy another one...that's what I believe is headed my way.  Happy New Year from Microsoft - we just cost you $1000 because we don't know what we are doing anymore!!!

 

For the love of God, can someone please tell me how to use BIOS to boot off of this USB so that MAYBE...JUST MAYBE my property may be returned to me in working order?! 

 

3 days, 8 hours, 7 representatives with tech educations - and my computer is in the same dysfunctional state.

Hello

I had my laptop not more than a month and basically i was trying to fix an issue with my disk constantly been on 100% usage disable some application that I found on the internet, after that I tried to disable my antivirus to see if there were any changes, after that a blue screen appears saying that the computer had an issue and need to restart, after that is keep loading on "preparing automatic Repair" and wouldn't change in any further window 

 

what can I do?

I'm trying to find the proper drivers for my HP 2000-2d62NR laptop. This computer originally came with Windows 8 preinstalled and thus, there's only Windows 8 drivers on the support page for this model. I read in another thread:

that I could pull the drivers from another 2000 model that has windows 7 drivers and the same hardware. Does anyone know which 2000 model laptop with Windows 7 drivers would be compatible with my model? mainly the graphics driver. I got the touchpad driver from my model's windows 8 version to work, but Windows Aero doesn't work, so it's not detecting hardware acceleration.

Blue screen of death randomly causing laptop to reset at various times

So I have ran checks on all my hardware and even got a new hardrive but I still get random blue screens of death. I may be gaming, watching youtube, or writing on a word doc, and my laptop may randomly crash with blue screen. It happens too often to be normal. I need help!!! I have created system dump file to get information but i dont not understand the information. If i add a link can someone read it and help? or offer info.

I have been having serious hang and crash issues with my Notebook pc.  Predominately it's the corel PSPX3 and the VSTUDIO PROX3 software not starting, crashing, locking up I have been dealing with Corels tech team and thats a nother book right there. 

 

My question to al lof you that are far more knowledgable than I regarding event logs and how to interpret the logs I found a "Security Warning" in the event log that HP active health is unable......  Event is below;

 

Any help would be appreciated.  I am running Microsoft security Essentials  in real time with default security setings.

*  User control  is on and working is set to auto update as is Microsoft Updates.

Hi,

 

Just bought new laptop and love it. 

Just one minor annoyance the function keys work the wrong way around for me.  I would prefer F5 to be F5 rather than decrease volume as I use function keys all the time in visual studio.

 

I've read some answers about changing BIOS but this laptop has a UEFI I had a look but couldn't find a similar setting in the UEFI menus.
