HP Zbook 15 G4 performance problems

So i have a HP Zbook 15 G4, the problem is when the lid is open the notebook  works very well everything is as it should be, when i close the lid the pc performance drops extremly.

 

Already updated everything, power options have been checkd everything is fine, graphich is set the nvidia quadro m2200 in windows.

The pc becomes laggy, jumpy windows etc

 

The strange part is also that i cant enter the bios at all i have the pass but cant enter the bios menu, and the pc is conected to the typ c port replicator  from hp, also the update tool dont recognise the port replicator.

 

Only thing left to do is to update the bios and check if it helps, still maybe somebody had the problem already.

The other day my laptop would not log on as normal.  I could hear it working but the screen remained black for 2 days.  I long-pressed the start button to shut down & to restart it.  Now the entire taskbar is not working (not responding to clicks).   The start menu, the cortana box, my notifications, the show desktop area and all other buttons on the taskbar are not responding.  I have not received any error messages.  I have a wireless internet connection.  And the last change I made was making Microsoft Edge my default browser through my Settings.   Please help!!

Hello there!! I have recently downloaded the Cyberlink Youcam Version 4 for my Mini Laptop HP (Series 1110), Windows 7 software and the webcam that comes built-in in my device, does not seem to work properly, even when it appears Active in the Control Panel. 

 

I would like to kindly ask the Forum, please, if I need extra software to get activated the camera or, what  kind of program do I need to install and, what kind of version do I need to work with to enable using my web cam properly.

I have had Windows10 installed on my device, but after an W10 updating my screen becom as a VGA screen, I think because grafik driver was not compatibel with the new W10 upddating, so I get back to Windows 7 Home.

 

I should like to know if Windows10 have now a compatible driver.

so i had saved my pictures and videos from my iphone on my hp pavilion laptop but with my videos they wont play, they just look like if i took a picture. Any ideas why is that?

I recently noticed that when I start up my laptop, the trackpad does not work. I have to wait about a minute, then suddenly it will start working. I believe this has something to do with the Synaptics enhancements program as I noticed in task manager that as soon as that application starts up, the trackpad starts to work. I was wondering why it does not start up straight away as this is rather fustrating that I cannot use my laptop for the first few minutes. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi, I can't turn on bluetooth.

 

There is no option to turn it on in the bluetooth panel.

In action center the bluetooth icon is not available

Device manager refreshes every second with various errors

 

I have tried every solution on various forums and no help at all. Extremely frustrating as I need bluetooth.

 

Please help.

In early September this year I purchased an HP Pavilion 15-cs0997na Laptop running Windows 10 Home. All was well up to this last week when, after switching on the laptop and after singing in, the screen started switching on and off additionally, I was not able to access any controls on the screen.

After contacting HP support and starting in safe mode and reinstalling windows the problem reappeared. HP could not assist further and advised that the laptop could be faulty.

As the unit was only some two weeks old, I contacted the retailer who agreed to supply a new replacement laptop.

After receiving the replacement and going through the set-up process the same fault manifested itself with the screen switching on and off.

I am now stuck with a laptop that HP cannot address without returning the unit to their repair facility.

I have a suspicion that the problem could be caused by a Windows upgrade which came on Wednesday the 7th of November?

Your thoughts and suggestions on how to sort this frustrating problem would be appreciated.

When I started to update my laptop it showed a message that the laptop may restres several times during update do not press power button. So I left my laptop for update . After some time a popup diaplayed showing flash boot and after that my laptop switched off. Now it is not turning on and when I am plugging the charger the red led light is not glowing. Please help me. It contains valuable data.

DDR3 1600 Mhz

 

When I am start the game my CPU used going to 70 to 80% in task manager 

I don't know why I have a good configuration

 

I am check already checked background applications and disable

 

So please help me what I need to do do I need to upgrade the RAM ?

Some time back, my home server died, so I repurposed my dv6 and installed Windows Server 2016 Standard x64.

Installed the HP tools/drivers.  But HP Support Assistant always crashes (exits with no explination) when I click on Troubleshooting and fixes.

Hi i am using HP Notebook - 15q-dy0004au, Processer AMD Ryzen 3,  ubuntu is my Operating system, sometimes that ubuntu is just freezed nothing can work unless the power button, My question  is that I want to  must install the AMD drivers  to rectify this problem,

What are the drivers I want to install from AMD driver Page ,(Processer, Graphics, processer with Graphics,professinal Graphics) I am juse confused what i want to download

 

 Addition  In the Processer Driver section only it listed ryzen 3 Desktop processers. where i can download Appropriate AMD drivers for my laptop Ubuntu linux ?
